Exterior & Interior​

There are more customisation options available than before, with new alloy wheels options, new body colours, and a new 'Second Skin' programme. The new 'Second Skin' offers either a geometric pattern along the belt line or across the upper half of the New 500, available in either Ethnic (a geometric pattern), Lord (a classic tartan), Comics (a pop decoration), Navy (nautical patterns) and Camouflage.​

Inside are the biggest changes. The new seats are more comfortable, available in a larger range of colour combinations, and the updated dashboard now integrates a Uconnect infotainment system across the range. This new unit offers improved connectivity with USB port and auxiliary ports and newly designed steering wheel mounted audio controls standard on all models.

Inside the Lounge model, the Uconnect system uses a five-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calls and music streaming. DAB radio and a voice-activated TomTom satellite navigation system is also available at an additional charge. 

Performance

The new Fiat 500 range is available with a range of economical Euro 6 compliant petrol engines.

The popular 69HP 1.2 litre engine returns, with a Combined fuel consumption figure of up to 47.1 MPG and low CO2 emissions of just 136 g/km with the manual transmission. For a more economical drive, customers can choose the 1.0 Hybrid 79HP engine, which offers up to 53.3 MPG on the Combined Cycle and has ultra-low emissions of 119g/km.

The 500 now offer reduced emissions* while driving, thanks to the new hybrid engine. With improved fuel consumption, they are easy to use and provide a more pleasant driving experience.

Technology

On-board the Fiat 500 is the Uconnect Radio. Uconnect is a comprehensive sound system that provides multiple audio options including AM/FM tuner and USB/Aux inputs for your devices.

You can even control your audio using the controls implemented within the steering wheel, so connect your devices and start listening on the move!

With the Uconnect full package you'll also access to the fantastic TomTom navigation capabilities on its 7" touch screen. This includes 3D maps, live updates on traffic, weather forecasts and even safety camera alerts.

Safety

Finally, safety is key on the 500, with seven airbags available as standard, as before, as well as ABS with electronic brake distribution, advanced electric stability control, anti-slip regulation, Hill Holder and hydraulic brake assistance.

The additional aspect of LED daytime running lights provides an extra barrier of safety for individuals who are hard of sight, and also allows others on the road to have higher visibility of you.

The 1.2-litre engine is also now equipped with 257mm front disc brakes for more effective braking.
